Hi, I'm Francesca, the founder of Heel to Toe Foot Care.

I live in Wokingham with my husband and two young children. We have lived in the area for over 20 years, and feel very fortunate to be part of such a thriving community.

As a fully qualified and registered Foot Health Practitioner, I provide treatment to patients of all ages within the comfort of their own home.

I pride myself on providing the best possible foot health care and delivering positive outcomes for all my patients.

I truly believe... "healthy feet, happy you"!

Both FHPs and Podiatrists (or Chiropodist) are qualified to provide routine clinical foot health treatments such as trimming nails, removing corns and reducing callus, treating verrucas and fungal nails and carrying out general foot health reviews. Additionally, they provide Diabetic foot health care to assess feet for any changes in condition.

Podiatrists are qualified to provide additional, more advanced treatments as they specialise in the study, diagnosis and treatment of long term foot, ankle and lower leg conditions. Their work involves preventing and correcting deformities of the feet and lower legs by using orthotics and offer footwear advise.

FHPs and Podiatrists are qualified to treat feet but have had different levels of training; an FHP can complete a Diploma, whereas a Podiatrist completes a University Degree. To practice safely, both FHPs and Podiatrists should be registered with their relevant governing bodies and be fully insured.

What's the difference between a

Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) and a Podiatrist?

If more advanced treatment or specialist knowledge is required to treat a patient,

an FHP (with the patient’s consent) will refer to a Podiatrist or GP.
